Ariv Gupta

Chief Encouraging Officer

Junior at James Logan High School

After he decided to leave Scouts, he was constantly reminded of the exciting adventures he had as a part of the activity and grew to miss it. He wanted to make a way for people to get those same experiences he did, but without having to go through the paperwork and commitment. He decided to create the Outdoors Club, to provide this opportunity to all high schoolers.

“This club is designed to be an enjoyable space, meant to provide kids with a break from their lives, to give them a chance to serve themselves, and forge brand new relationships with themselves and the world around them.” - Ariv Gupta

Chief Wellness Officer

I love exploring nature and admiring life outdoors.

“When talking about exercise and fitness, many people only think about the physical aspects of health and ignore the implications of the outdoors on our brains.”

I am passionate about the intersection between mental health/nourishment and going outside, and hope to encourage others to find their inner peace through Outdoors Club!

Loves biking and long walks with friends! The outdoors has long been a way to meet new and amazing people-- the goal is to increase the time other young people spend outdoors.

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”
